    Background

I have developed environmental campaigns, managed donor communications, and created strategic communication plans. My experience includes working on environmental education projects, coordinating Latin America communications at Nature and Culture Internation, and serving as an environmental journalist for five years, contributing to local Ecuadorian newspapers such as “El Comercio” and international platforms such as Mongabay. Currently I am pursuing a PhD in Scientific Communication and Climate Change.

    Something interesting about you

Ever since I was two months old, I have not stopped traveling. I have lived in eight countries and visited several others. Everywhere I went, I would get lost in the magic of forests, the fragility of the smallest animals and the immensity of the oceans. What started initially as a child’s curiosity then became my life’s passion. The more I saw, the more I felt the need to share with others all the wonders of nature and the challenges faced with preserving it. After seeing so much of our planet’s beauty and the incredible ways that humanity thrives on its resources, I had also witnessed the impact of our actions. This experience taught me that environmental problems are fundamentally rooted in human behavior – our choices, consumption patterns, and relationship with nature. I realized that effective communication is essential for inspiring the behavioral changes needed to address these challenges. Therefore, I decided to ignite in others the desire to preserve the beauty that still remains in our world.
